Your cargo is protected inside convenient, spacious hard saddlebags that have lockable lids with weatherproof seals. The lids can be locked electronically using a console-mounted button or the bike’s key fob.

Designed from the ground up, the Thunder Stroke 111 is a powerful engine with premium performance that`s expressed through heritage-inspired features. These design cues were taken from the Power Plus motor of the 1940`s:

The Indian Chieftain`s steering geometry is engineered to deliver light, responsive handling whether ridden solo with no cargo or 2-up with full saddlebags.

To create the first fairing in Indian Motorcycle history, the design team had to look for inspiration outside of the motorcycle industry. They landed on the sleek and powerful streamliner locomotives of the 1950`s. With these classically styled machines as their guide, the team brought Indian Motorcycle into the 21st century with Chieftain.

The Indian Chieftain has advanced features that optimize the ride experience. With automotive-quality ABS braking, you ride with confidence that you’ll brake under control in all situations.

It’s the most powerful visual icon in motorcycling. Since 1947, this illuminated Headdress has graced the front fender of nearly every Indian Motorcycle, showing the way on the open road.

The short, tinted windshield that sits on top of Chieftain`s stylish fairing can be raised or lowered electronically with the push of a handlebar-mounted button. A rider can lower the windshield to enjoy cooling airflow or raise it to block wind & rain.

The Thunder Stroke 111 produces 119 ft-lb of torque with tremendous power at low RPM. You can accelerate hard with power to spare in every gear.

Never fumble with a key again. With the proximity key fob in your pocket, just climb on, start it up & ride away. Misplace the fob? Just enter your personal security code and ride on.

The fairing features an integrated 100 watt audio system that delivers premium-quality sound from dual high-output speakers. Smartphones and other audio sources can be connected by cable or Bluetooth®.

Premium audio with Bluetooth compatibility, push-button saddlebag locks, a height-adjustable electric windshield & a tire pressure monitor system come standard.
